Lark Distillery
Slainté (pronounced “Slon Jay”) is Gaelic for “Good Health”, has quickly stamped its mark, and is fast becoming a signature product of the Lark Distillery
Slainté Malt Whiskey Liqueur
Slainte

Slainté was developed by Lyn Lark after a strong demand for a unique Australian whisky liqueur. Finally in 2005, the Lark Distillery had enough mature whisky stocks to supply the market and the product was released.

Slainté is a marriage of mature single malt whisky with a distilled spirit of herbs and spices produced in a smaller copper pot still. The two are carefully combined to give the right complexity of character, spiciness and sweetness, whilst maintaining the delightful overtones of the whisky.

Colour:

Rich honey gold

Nose:

Reveals the delicate balances of the spices and herbs initially, yet revealing hints of smokey malt to follow.

Taste:

Pleasantly sweet but not over the top, fresh with herbal notes initially on the palate, leading to a lingering, rich, malty character.

Finish:

Long, lingering and delightful.

Slainté can be enjoyed:

  • Straight and plentiful
  • Over ice
  • With whisky as an Australian take on a “Rusty Nail”
  • In a good, strong black coffee with cream
